Storage:

active substances: 1 tablet contains bendazole hydrochloride 30 mg, papaverine hydrochloride 30 mg;

excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, potato starch, croscarmellose sodium, calcium stearate.

Medicinal form. Tablets.

The main physicochemical properties: tablets are white with a grayish tint, flat-cylindrical, with a chamfer.

Pharmacotherapeutic group. Peripheral vasodilators
Clinical characteristics.

Indication.

Spasm of smooth muscles of internal organs (pylorospasm, spastic colitis, cholecystitis, peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum, intestinal colic, renal colic, urinary tract spasm);

transient spasm of brain vessels;

moderately pronounced spasm of peripheral vessels;

an additional tool in the complex therapy of arterial hypertension.

Contraindication.

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to other components of the medicinal product; violation of atrioventricular conduction; severe heart failure; arterial hypotension; diseases that occur with a decrease in muscle tone; convulsive syndrome; broncho-obstructive syndrome; bleeding stomach and duodenal ulcer; hypotonic colitis; habitual constipation; brain injury; severe liver and kidney failure; chronic nephritis with edema and impaired nitrogen excretory function of the kidneys; diabetes; hypothyroidism; insufficiency of the adrenal glands; hypertrophy of the prostate gland, glaucoma.

In the case of rare hereditary conditions, due to which incompatibility with the auxiliary substance of the medicinal product is possible (see the section “Special safety measures”), taking the medicinal product is contraindicated.
Method of application and dosage.

The medicine is prescribed to adults orally 2 hours before or after meals, 1 tablet 2-3 times a day. The maximum single dose is 1 tablet, the maximum daily dose is 4 tablets.

The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor depending on the nature and course of the disease, the effectiveness of the therapy.

Children.

Do not use the medicine for children.

Overdose.

Symptoms of poisoning are a combination of an overdose of papaverine and bendazole.

Symptoms of bendazol poisoning: arterial hypotension, arrhythmia, increased sweating, feeling hot, dizziness, nausea, headache, weakness, decreased tissue perfusion.

Symptoms of papaverine poisoning: restlessness, retardation, drowsiness, weakness, headache, sweating, visual impairment, diplopia, difficulty breathing, ataxia, nystagmus, depression of the central nervous system, sinus tachycardia, partial or complete atrioventricular block, arterial hypotension, collapse, coma, cyanosis, metabolic acidosis, hyperventilation, hyperglycemia, hyperkalemia, nausea, vomiting, constipation, gastrointestinal disorders, skin rash.

Treatment: withdrawal of the medicinal product, gastric lavage with clear lavage water, saline laxative and activated charcoal. Symptomatic treatment. There is no specific antidote.

Adverse reactions.

When using the drug, some patients may experience side effects typical of papaverine and bendazole drugs.

From the respiratory system, organs of the chest and mediastinum: dry cough, runny nose, difficulty breathing.

From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, constipation, discomfort in the stomach area.

From the side of the liver and biliary tract: increased activity of hepatic transaminases, jaundice.

From the side of the nervous system: headache, drowsiness, weakness, dizziness.

From the side of the cardiovascular system: AV block, arrhythmias, decreased myocardial contractility, arterial hypotension, orthostatic hypotension, palpitations, heart pain, hot flushes, ventricular extrasystole, tachycardia; with long-term use – deterioration of ECG indicators due to a decrease in cardiac output.

From the blood and lymphatic system: eosinophilia.

From the side of the immune system: hypersensitivity reactions, including rash, itching, urticaria, Quincke’s edema.

General disorders: increased sweating, hyperemia, feeling of heat.

In the event of the appearance of any undesirable phenomena, the patient must consult a doctor!

Expiry date. 5 years.

Do not use the medicine after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Storage conditions.

Store in a place inaccessible to children in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 25 °C.

10 tablets each in a contoured blister pack; 1 contour envelope in a pack.
